Yo Tmartn, I am really excited about this and really hope you do a full playthrough on it. Since it may seem all a bit confusing at first, here are a few tips: - There are actually many different events that you can do: marked man, road rage, races, and stunts, to name a few - To progress, you want to get your license as higher and higher - As you get more cars and do more events, the opponents get tougher and their cars get better - The key to not having issues with finding areas is to keep exploring the map. Every event and tune-up shops get added to your map when you spot them - but you can easily just explore by doing the events Also, you do mention that it is a more chilled-out game. This is true when you are exploring, but it can quickly turn more thrilling when doing events such as marked man. I hope these tips helped you, and I do hope you do a full playthrough!

The original Burnout Paradise is still among one of the best, most fun racing games I've played.

@Tmartn basically if u smash all the billboards your reward is a car. Same for all Security gates, and super jumps. If you go to Big Surf Island (which is the small island) the bridge is on Paradise Keys Blvd and you smash all gates, buildboards, super jumps you get 3 additional cars. Plus the races over there get you different cars for your 2nd License (Big Surf Island license) OMG it’s so much fun

The reason you get a beat up car cause when your license upgrades, there are cars you can take down as they drive by, which unlocks that car. You then drive to an auto repair shop to earn that cars burning route which allows you to get an upgraded version of that car. Hope this helps

TIP: when you drive around the city you might see other racers, get their car wrecked to make it yours. You get the sickest cars that way. good luck! (Also if you use all the nitrous at once, it fully refils)

You are in for a bunch of fun! Burnout Paradise was my favorite game for so long! I played it non-stop for so many years. I still play it every now and then and still love it! However, remastered is an over statement from what I am seeing. Sure, the graphics are a LITTLE better and the cars are shinier, but that doesn't do much does it? I could give some tips on the game, however, I doubt that you will even see this comment.
