Explore the mysteries of the Glastonbury landscape on the 'Mysteries of England Tour' in July 2020. Details here: www.megalithoma.... Hugh Newman visits Burrow Mump (Burrowbridge Mump) in Somerset and reveals its place along the Michael ley line, and within the Glastonbury Zodiac's 'Girt Dog of Langport'. It also marks out the third eye of a giant landscape Unicorn! The hill is 24 metres (79 ft) high, and stands at a strategic point where the River Tone and the old course of the River Cary join the River Parrett (the Unicorn's horn). The church is dedicated to St Michael and aligns with Glastonbury Tor to the north east, that also has a St Michael tower, and one can be seen from the other on a clear day. This sacred hill is part of the wassailing tradition where apples are thrown into the river to feed the great dog, and nearby Wagg Drove is the location of the dog's tail in the landscape effigy! Includes exclusive aerial footage.
