Minor Spoilers: I like how in the short, whenever the bunny ends up digging into someone else's home, the occupants aren't, like, annoyed, embarrassed or angry. They are just so accommodating or concerned, like this is a common, known occurrence (which it probably is), and try to welcome the bunny or check if the bunny is okay. I mean, Bunny digs into someone's bathroom, and the lizards doesn't screech and attack or anything, or act like the bunny's a pervert. And when Bunny digs into a bugs' fancy restaurant, and the bugs all *cheer* and greet them instead of getting angry. It's just so fun.

Actually it isn't. Not only do you still have to go through pre-production (ie storyboard, visual development, character design, layout, colour script, etc), the animation process is just as laborious as 2D, if not moreso.

Didn't realise Burrow was the short, so only watched it after the movie. Was kind of expecting the short when I clicked on the Soul movie, didn't know it'd be stand alone. You're right it didn't hit the same as a result, but I enjoyed it nonetheless and Soul was fantastic. Wish they could have given a warning haha that Burrow was the short.

I watched Soul few days ago (which easily became one of my favorite movies) and GOSH there was Madeline's work right at the beginning of it!
