Burt Young is a legend! Trained as an actor at Lee Strasberg's Actor Studio, he's also a painter! While in the marines win 32 of 34 boxing matches. Then he turned pro and had a 17-0 record, managed by Cus D'Amato! And of course, of Italian descent :)

I met Burt Young when skating down Lexington Avenue outside the Waldorf, where he was getting out of a taxi and said "Hey look at the kid on the skates." I went up to him, said "Hey, you're Burt Young" and shook his hand. I bet he was shocked I knew his name but I got HBO in February, 1978 when they showed Rocky twenty-three times.

We never found out what happened to Paulie and Adrian's Parents. Based on what we know from the Original Rocky, Paulie had been living with his Sister for quite some time. The Parents probably died very young, and Paulie thought he could take care of his younger Sister. But after some time, she ended up taking care of him.
