Joseph Anton Bruckner Composition Symphony No. 7 in E major (Novak version) 　Philharmonia Orchestra 　Conductor: Otto Klemperer 　Recorded at Kingsway Hall, November 1-5, 1960 　This performance is regarded as the most well-balanced of the Bruckner series of stereo recordings, second only to the Fifth. The beauty of the Adagio is especially stunning. Among Bruckner's symphonies, Klemperer seemed to conduct No. 7 most often, and in fact, the performance he cancelled just before announcing his retirement was also this No. 7.

亡き父が所持していたクレンペラー輸入盤LPは二枚組でした。中学生の私は確か二楽章を聴いている時に寝てしまいました。後年カラヤンやヨッフム、ホーレンシュタイン等を聴いてクレンペラーは偉大だと認識しましたよ。 Upload有難う御座います。
