What exactly is he doing, flying around the world, being treated as a mediator VIP into a conflict, he does not believe exist. He's simply joined the Hutu Tutsi propaganda used by Nkurunziza and his gangsters; he's taken a side. The opposition to Nkurunziza is primarily composed of prominent and decent Hutu who are saying no to a band of criminals who have resorted to any means to stay in power, including genocide. Mkapa should exercise a better judgment. He doesn't believe in the mediation, he should just join Nkurunziza payroll as a spokesman or chief PR and quit betraying Burundians whether internally oppressed or suffering in refugee camps. Mkapa did not even recognize that there are more than 200,000 in Tanzania, he simply repeated Nkurunziza claim that people were forced into the streets to demonstrate against an illegal grab of power. what a shame?
