My dad took me to Old Trafford in September 1957 to watch Utd play Arsenal, can`t really recall much,I was only 9,but I do remember most of the goals,Utd winning 4-2. Duncan Edwards played as did Tommy Taylor,Eddie Colman,Roger Byrne and Billy Whelan. Four months later half that team were killed at Munich,so sad.

Love it. The second smallest boy in the picture is the goalkeeper. When it comes to boys football, it's ever thus.

A fantastic side and an even nicer bunch of lads. The whole of Manchester grieved this awful event. Reds and blues although Utd felt the greater pain most Mancunians devastated. Won’t tolerate the sick Munich chants around me that’s for sure at city games ❤💙
