Thanks! I grew up watching these kinds of outfits, when I was a kid. Wonderful to take a trip down memory lane!! I don't know if I told you. I saw the 'Green meanies' at Calder Park Raceway, when I was (i think) about five. Wonderful memories. Also. One of the worst situations ever..... I just rejected a site managers position which was located around 20 minutes from Phillip Island. Endless track days....so much fun. Not to be, I guess?

Cool memories. The first sidecars that I remember were built around two-stroke three-cylinder Wartburg engines ... Yugoslavia, early 70s ... 20 min from PI ... it sounds interesting, but the climate there is a bit hysterical to me. I spent 3 days on PI ... Cheers Marty!

Doppel Sieger der Sidecar TT 1973 ( Gg. We. )

The fiberglass seat/lid is not on. When it is, you cannot see the engine, gearbox, frame. And it is a kneeler so there is not much of a seat anyway.

@@jaanvonreis2745 That's amazing! I thought the drivers must've been doing super kegels to hover over that super hot engine and exhausts! But putting a seat on makes so much more sense! I can't believe they didn't think of this until recently!
