Mmm! I love corned beef hash. Oh, by the way. Dogs don't worry about how our food looks so why should we worry about how their food looks 🤗 Thanks for sharing Stuart. Take care, Steve. 👍👍

That hash looked pretty good, Stuart. Better than 'Finger-Licking Good'! You certainly know your onions when it comes to cooking. It's the Mylar fan again! Have you tried it this way which is so easy in camp and saves an awful lot of effort, time and fuel and ends up with a tasty result.. You don't need to take the tin and you don't need an entire standard tin of corned beef to make a meaty breakfast for one. Saves weight. Cp my recipe to - 1 x box of potato pieces + 1 large onion + 1 tin of corned beef + the black pepper grinder + At home- Boil and mash your tatties. Steam (or fry) some white onions at the same time (frying will give more taste) (Or use some left-over bubble and squeak plus the onions) In large mixing bowl, crumble in 1/2 tin (more or less according to taste) corned beef, season and mix well. Return the mixture to large frying and and cook to get plenty of 'brown bits'. Leave in pan to cool and evaporate to avoid it being at all sloppy. When cool, spoon the required amount into Mylar pouch and and seal ready for camp. Freeze if not going out the same or next day. In camp, empty into frypan (oiled with butter) and reheat thoroughly. When hot, draw to one side and add a couple of eggs to make a memorable and satisfying breakfast or evening meal. Should keep in camp for 24-72 hrs if weather is not too hot when sealed. One pan - 10-20 mins max. cooking on minimal fuel. Another nae bother meal with no risk, just how you like it. PS- Dear Stuart, I hope in the 2022 heatwave you're not lighting open fires. That would be very naughty.

Hey Stuart,long time viewer and listener.Would love to see a weekend out with Ollie and how you teach young people the basics.I raised 2 young ladies that never showed interest in rural camping.But on the other hand, you have a young lad that is wanting to be out there with dad and is eager to learn.Now is the time and he brings whimsy to the channel

Looked great Stuart rarely use corned beef like this
@constantcomment19545 жыл бұрын
Stuart, that looked great! After you cook the hash you can pour in a bit of milk. That will make it brown if you leave it on the heat for a few minutes. Do you like ketchup or HP sauce? How about a video that you and Ollie go fishing and cook what you catch? Thanks, Connie
