Can’t tell you Mark how on the money that was. Your vids (Yourself & Jamie) we’re instrumental in me purchasing a 19 plate CRF250 Rally 16 months ago. Truth is, I’m never going to be Graham Jarvis or Billy Bolt, and I’m nearly always solo, I had joined the TRF but generally come away from rides out feeling less than, replaying of LWA vids reconnects me to why I was drawn to this type of bike in my late 50s (60 next year), it’s as you and Jamie put it, for the adventure, I’ve lightweight camping/ bushcraft gear and aspire to camp off my bike, your recent vid completely nailed my thoughts and have inspired me to focus on a camp within the next few weeks, thank you Mark, your both top blokes. I’m a Falklands vet (RN) (Your Jersey logo wasn’t lost on me 😊) and struggle with claustrophobia, so camping out on my own in pitch dark is a struggle to say the least but so rewarding when I get myself through a night, the terror somehow has an almost detox effect, sets me up for weeks and grounds me. Good work Chaps. Blessings from Llandeilo 🏴🙏

Hey, thanks fir such a cool message. It's all about the adventure for us, the bike just facilitates that. Camping alone can be tough at the best of times, your mind plays through every possible scenario 😅. Glad you've found the spark to get out and camp, it's nature's wonder drug to most things. Ride safe mate, Marc

"Not here to put shoes on caterpillars" 😂😂😂 never heard that before. Really enjoyed that, looks like a cool place, we need more places like this, as wild camping with a bike is pretty difficult to stay under the radar

It's getting more difficult year on year unfortunately. Glad you enjoyed the vid 👊🏻😎

Nice one chaps, really enjoyed that. I have a bit of woodland but only camped up there once on the crf so far. Need to sort my kit and do much more next year.
@lightweightadv Жыл бұрын
Oh wow, having your own woodland opens up a world of opportunity. Make the most of that dude 👊🏻😎

Sesame St style, this video was brought to you by the letter B!..bike, bivvi, basha, bushcraft, batonning, billycan, basic and bloody brilliant!..😂..great idea to test your kit before an adventure. I have even been known to camp out in my own back garden to test a new tent, bits of new kit etc!..really enjoyed watching that 😀👍
@lightweightadv Жыл бұрын
Thought you were gonna call me Big Bird for a moment there. 100% you need to test kit out! Thanks buddy, really appreciate it 👊🏻😎

Great Video! I can see you’ve got the adventure spec rear rack protectors did you have to modify them I asked AS but they said they only for the 250L and not the rally I have a 2017 rally 👍🏻. Thanks
@lightweightadv Жыл бұрын
I modified the rally's fairings to accommodate them. I think the AS racks for the CRF300 fit the 250 Rally, but you might want to check first

Well i made it to Gotham Woods and am literally messging from my hammock lol. Great location, although a little damp tonight after the rain we've had. Great place though.

Very cool, which pitch you in? We loved lt there

@lightweightadv We're in the area near the log cabin. So there's quite an open view with the dense woodland behind. Maybe 50 meters from the compost loo lol 😆

Erm! my missus wants a word with you guys, for some reason my local dealer delivered a crf250l to my house on Tuesday. I caved and said it was your fault you made me do it haha the only down side is there are no legal green lanes near Grimsby haha
@lightweightadv Жыл бұрын
Umm, errr, nothing to do with us Guv'na! Haha, nice one dude! You're gonna have a blast. A few lanes local to you, but Lincolnshire is a bit lacking unfortunately. The TRF or GLASS will help you out 👌🏻
