Nice video mate. Do you remember how much fuel you used? I have the same bike and live down in Pipeclay, keen to do the ride.

Cheers Jamie. Fuel usage... Well, it was a lot further for me to get to the Wilson River Reserve than it will be for you, and I used probably only bit over half a tank. Great fuel economy from the CRF- as you'd know.

What is your weight in kg and luggage weight? Consider buying crf250 rally for such trips you do, but maximum rally load is 150 kg, and my weight is 90 kg. So looks like it could be a problem, unless i change rear suspension.

I'm only 75 kg, and took perhaps 25 kilos of camp gear. I'd say the 250 Rally is a little small and under-powered for you. Perhaps the new 300 cc Rally may be a winner. Or do what I did and got a DR650. A DRZ 400 would also be a great adv bike- once set up 👍
