+ The life of a caretaker is one of the most unique experiences in life. My wife and I applied for this caretaker position to Shelly and Buck in the spring of 1999. They offered it to us. However, unforeseen circumstances arose and we were forced to defer the opportunity to this lovely couple (Dave and Brooke). We are now in our fifties and still caretakers to this day in British Columbia. What a great story. Thumbs up.

Hi Dave , In my opinion you have a wonderful relaxing melodic voice so much so that when David Attenborough retires they should consider giving you his Job as I haven’t heard anybody else talk as soothing as you do ,all one needs is a BIG log fire crackling in the background & a rocking chair reading a good book & a delish., mug of Brooke,s coffee . Blessings to you both & your lovely family Thank you all . Marion

Thank you very much. I would LOVE David Attenborough's job.....I'll wait for them to call me.

The Aleutian Islands brings back memories of many years ago 1962 as a young sailor aboard a naval destroyer. I would make 2 more 6 month trips to to WESPAC. Our fleet of destroyers and an aircraft carrier got into a typhoon, the worse I would see. Our ship was running low on fuel the aircraft carrier was try to refuel us which they often did. It was the job of the young sailors to pull the fuel lines across. Suddenly a large wave swept across the deck sending everyone down the deck, my arms was grappling for anything to hold onto, suddenly I grabbed something it was the outer rail that saved me from going over board. It’s an experience I’ll never forget and I’ll never forget the Aleutian Islands! The fuel lines broke and we had to refuel later. Love your channel!

Hi Dave, I'm Scott and I lived in Alaska for 15 years in the 70's and 80's. Ever since I left Anchorage, I've missed Alaska almost every day of my life. I never made it to the AK Penninsula or the Aleutians, but I have an obsession with the Islands, and I find myself researching them a lot. I came across your video that you and Brooke put together. I must tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I'm recommending it to my son, who also loves Alaska. Thank you putting this together......it brought me closer to a place that I so badly miss. You have a very pleasant way of telling stories. My best to you and Brooke...........stay well Dave, and thanks again! -Scott Snyder

Hey MP! What did you think of the great Hoolie! He was my first collie. I got him from a lady who drove garbage truck. he had been hanging out around a landfill for a week or so when she figured he must be a stray and she picked him up. I told her I would take him if he needed a home and she jumped on it. He had a spot that wouldn't heel on his stomach and we later had a .22 bullet removed from him. So somebody had shot a stray collie...........but he won the lotto with Brooke and I ! He was a pampered pooch the rest of his life. I had him 8 years, and he was the best dog you could ever want to have. watching your videos floors me. Its like watching a slightly different version of your own life. Its weird and awesome at the same time. Tell Monty we said hi!
@Bushradical7 жыл бұрын
Where are you located Matthew? we all should get the dogs together and shoot a vid sometime.
@MatthewPosa7 жыл бұрын
Hoolie seemed like a pretty badass dog. Bearing those elements like that. Nuts that he was a stray dog, collies are so great who could leave him like that! And who the heck could shoot him! He definitely won the jackpot with you two, spoiled dogs for life! Its also crazy that Hoolie and the Aussie didn't get along. Monty and Rueger are like 2 pea's in a pod hahaha! And you guys got bit trying to break em up. I've only had to do that twice. One time I got bit by my own dog cause he was being attacked and he was frantically defending himself and bit me on accident. The other time 2 dogs had locked up jaws on each other and we just had to hold them and throw snow in their faces til they let go. I know splashing water in their mouths and noses makes them stop safely. You guys did some pretty badass stuff in your day, I hope to be able to look back and say the same! I will tell him!
@MatthewPosa7 жыл бұрын
I am over in Michigan. It's a pretty far drive from Alaska hahaha! Maybe in the future we can work something out. I am planning a road trip to Alaska for my friends move but I won't have Monty with me and am unsure if I will be going by where you guys are located.

Any vagina pics given? Speaking of vagina my wife's vag stinks a bit like cat pee and sweaty socks mixed with rotten eggs, but that's not my biggest problem. I know I might have to listen to assholes who say " Well at least you have a woman to fuck you" but if you saw her snatch, you'd be sicked out too. My wife has these large puffy labia that when she is standing around looks like a huge ballsack. I hate having to part those thick meat curtains just to get at her clit, and when we have sex my balls get all slimy afterwards. Yesterday she wore yoga pants with no panties, as if that was going to turn me on. I mean minus the cock, it looked like she was packing male equipment. It was no camel toe, but more of a trouser meatball. I want to recommend laser surgery but don't know how to bring it up

@albertobalsalm11247 жыл бұрын
Bushradical Oh I didn't know you were playing the guitar, that's even better! I didn't hear any mistake and i play the guitar too, I think It is the best choice between silence and maybe music that distracts people from the narration
@Bushradical7 жыл бұрын
Thanks AB! If you could hear just the guitar it wouldn't be pretty, lol. Its actually a great way to do youtube video music, because you can switch to a minor chord whenever you want to "bring things down" and you don't need to go find the music that fits. What do you have for a guitar? All this music was recorded on a Seagull.
@albertobalsalm11247 жыл бұрын
Bushradical Yes that's a beatiful way to match the narration tone with the music. I play classical guitar (Ramirez). Sorry for my English, actually it's not my first language (I'm from Italy).
