When I was a kid my Dad went in the backyard with a hacksaw, grinder, some hinges and other assorted hardware and a 50 gallon oil drum. A few hours later he was barbecuing chicken and grilling hamburgers. Over the years his oil drum grill was the main attraction at a lot of family get togethers. Dave, if my Dad was alive today he'd be your biggest fan.

Ok, now that's pretty slick. I LOVE the height of it. I'm a tall guy myself, and get so sick of having to bend over to do everything. I believe I'm going to make something like this myself.

Your repurpose of the fuel tank……..”Brilliant”! The leg spacing looked a little close together, some sort of a base that’s wider than the legs are now. Or anchored in rock or dirt especially if you have a place you will make your outdoor kitchen. Love you and Brook! Looking forward to seeing how you renovate this property, it’s the whole property you renovate not just the house. What you have done so far is great and seeing the stove you made and the food you cooked says you will not starve! Carry on! Make another video soon, I’m so excited to watch! Thanxz

Perfect timing for me. Been needing to build a dirty kitchen on my property. Taxes are killing me so trying to cut costs where I can. Have unlimited wood on land. A large square fuel tank has been laying on part of the property for the last 20 years or so. Never got around to hauling it off, so glad I didn't. Thank you for my new woodstove.
