why did you add 10 to the 23x12. i understand that there was an extra 10 months, but why not just multiply 12 by 23.84?

Often I calculate the demoninator first, then take the inverse of the denominator and multiply that with the numerator. Are you referring to that?

Brilliant Video Series thanks, but every time I type "ln ( 1/ (1 + 0.08/12))" I get -0.00664454.... how do you get x100 to the -3 power ? In the end my calculations point to 30 years??

Every calculator works a little different. The best way to calculate this is to calculate what is in the brackets first before taking the natural log.

+Michel van Biezen thanks for that, but what if maybe let's say there's an in of $50 ontop of the increased $50 instead of $783 on the third month he pays $833 then $883... and we call it accelerating Annuity can we calculate time, rate and present value
