I feel like a lot of people in America do not realize how privileged we are to have the freedom of expression, freedom to vote, freedom to disagree with the government and protest against it, and more, because none of these things are possible with totalitarianism nor a dictatorship.

Living in the United States, I am obviously biased to a representative democracy since it is all I have ever known, but I thought one advantage from totalitarianism that was worth mentioning was how their is one person who makes one decision and that is where all resources are allocated.
