Sharing with you my Buss Up Shut / Paratha recipe.
Ingredients:
4 cups bakers flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoon sugar
2 cups warm water (add gradually)
oil
butter
Utensils:
Tawa
Rolling pin
Wooden spatula / Dabla (I used my favourite blades)
Basting brush / Greaseproof paper
DID YOU KNOW:
The name Buss Up Shut refers to tattered and torn up shirt.

Silicone brush works best for oiling..and wooden dabla instead of cutlass. your paratha looks great nice n flaky lovely recipe

I was wondering why you did not dust with dry flour after adding the butter. Most recipes I looked at did this. Did you have a reason for this? Does it improve the end product?

I like the recipe but I oil when I turn the dough over but. it's just the same measurements of ingredients I use and I use butter thanks for sharing continue your good works God bless

yes man, ah have to try this method soon! thank you....now to find me blades, my mom used to use crumbled up brown paper bags too back home in Guyana and we clap the roti or shake it in a covered bowl.....lolll LOVE THE RESULTS.
