What a special video. Makes me choke up because I am remembering all of the amazing family cooks who are no longer with me anymore. Videos like these will preserve our culture and our delicious food always. And not to mention I think your nana woulda thought your roti lashed. Keep em comin Reshmi.

This is absolutely the most beautiful video of making buss up shot. It actually made me as emotional as it made my mouth water. The video footage of your forefathers making roti on that scale was beyond beautiful and made me feel so proud that it’s also part of my Jamaican lineage on my mother’s Indian Jamaican side.

This has to be the best video on paratha Reshmi. I moved from Trinidad at 17 years old but I vividly remember these family occasions. Thank you for sharing this part of your family with us. Job well done!!! Side note- I love the fact that you kept that strong Trini accent. Don't ever lose it.

I know this roti as paratha. Indian food is the best in the world! Everybody loves it. My Nani taught my mom to cook South Indian food. I’m from Jamaica 🇯🇲 we have a lot of Indians in Jamaica, Indian arrivals day in Jamaica is May 10 and 176 years. I am living in the states NY. Btw I love watching your cooking, my bestie from Trinidad.
