I know this roti as paratha. Indian food is the best in the world! Everybody loves it. My Nani taught my mom to cook South Indian food. I’m from Jamaica 🇯🇲 we have a lot of Indians in Jamaica, Indian arrivals day in Jamaica is May 10 and 176 years. I am living in the states NY. Had to say a special thanks for this recipe! It was a winner! I normally make my paratha with lukewarm water, but man does this make a huge difference. The roti was literally pillow soft! The warm water really makes a difference. Thanks again

I have try and try over the years to make buss up shut but you see this recipe I have really learn how to make it now. I tell you something that warm water when you use it that is the Secret in making a very soft buss up shut and also making sure your baking powder is not expire because that was one of many mistake I made in making my own buss up shut . Thank you for sharing this video and a little history of your family,I must say I enjoy it.

Wow, my father used to make those ginormous rotis like your Nana, he doesn't anymore, he says he isn't able to do it, coincidentally my mother and I cooked parathas yesterday and today not as huge as your Nanas but they were big. Your paratha looks soft and flaky

Reshmi at 12:36 minutes in, it looked like I was looking at heaven. I'm watching this kinda forlornly because I'm starting my Keto Diet on Tuesday so I won't be having this for a while lol! I appreciate the history and honor of your forefathers and fore-mothers as well.
