That situation is messed up. I been telling my sisters this for years about having their own because a man for sure (or a woman) will hold that over you, and will use that to trap and abuse you. Which one of my sister's friends is in an abuse relationship just like that. I was talkin to a few people that had signs of abuse, talking to me crazy when we were literally at the very beginning of the talking stages, and a few people that wanted me to end my relationship with my friends and family to be with them. 2 people kept projecting what they felt I was (problematic), when I showed them I was the opposite. There was a person that literally basically tried to groom me to be their arm candy, I was like, YEAH, we good luv, have a good day, and was out. 😭😭 Your story bring back memories when both of my ex's beat on me on a regular basis. I was scared, nervous, and hurt. I had a black eye and I went to work embarrassed and ashame. I never told my dad or my syblings. I was in Texas living and my family was in Georgia. Then I became homeless sleeping in my car parked in a Walmart park lot where I work. One of my bestfriends to this day found out and had me to stay with her until I got back on my feet. I remember getting beat and my dad called me to tell me my bestfriend was killed by her girlfriend. I was in tears and crying and my ex stop and said what is wrong with you and I told him and he stop beating me but then want to sex all night. I'm like WTF. Domestic violence is serious. I felt less than a human getting beat and I didn't want to catch a charge either,but I was able to get away. Neither one of my ex's ever apologized to me and my bestfriend was killed by her girlfriend. I got in my car and moved to another city and my ex called me and then I changed my number. I love this video because men go through domestic violence as well,but it's taboo to talk about because society says oh he is a man he can fight off the attacker,but nobody deserves to be abuse regardless of what type relationship they are in.

Also...I have a question. My current bf who I've dated since January, cheated on me after getting high and very drunk. Sorry that happened to you. Same happened to my friend with the final straw being the guy bringing him over to Canada (where he lived) they fought, he stole his laptop, kicked him out so that he had to sleep on the bench with the homeless, and find his way back to Jersey.

The part where you said that you couldn't hit nobody you love like you would hit somebody in the street but they will do it to you, yep I've been there, until my love switched to let this niqqa have it and be done. I couldn't believe I was in such a relationship. I thought it would be better or get better but nope, it never got better so we had 1 more good ring around the Rose's with a pocket full of poses. Grass and mud was our friend that night and I loved it. I left smiling the next morning and never looked back.

Wow Tripp I just subscribed. I wasn’t prepared for this story. But I’m very familiar with that type of toxic relationship. I’m from in Atlanta originally from Illinois. I saw the hurt in your face when you told that story. I’ve seen that hurt face before. I have learned you can’t treat people like shit and think they will stay because they won’t. Treat people how you want to be treated. With compassion and love and learn to listen. My heart was heavy in listening to this whole video. Did it ever connect that the friend from Detroit was someone he either was, or had, something going on with and mistreating you in front of him was for the guy? I had a female friend whose cousin’s husband treated her like shit in front of his homeboy and he attacked her in front of him once. I Immediately said, “they’re gay and in a relationship. He was proving to his boy that she isn’t important.” I don’t even know what made me say that but she said, “OMG! My husband said the same thing!” turns out that there was a rumor, that I never even knew about, that those two dudes were gay.
