That was very unnecessary for that security guard to follow and yell at you like that. You were complying that you were leaving the garage. so I don’t understand why he needed to act like that. He technically violated your rights when you were on a public sidewalk. And the way he stuck his middle finger up at the end shows how unprofessional he is.

You did the right thing and followed the normal private property busted procedure. The security guard exceeded his authority once he began to follow you. I would find out who owns or manages this facility and contact them and send them this video. He should be immediately fired for what he did to you. You were legally allowed to film him once you entered city property. Threats can be a criminal charge on him too. Allied Universal probably has some of the worst people involved in the company. They have NEVER been friendly to people and harass compliant citizens to a level that doesn't need to happen. It's almost like they want the drama to happen. He even seemed reasonable until you began to leave property.

I feel that it's also helpful to be honest with security and say that you have a genuine interest in elevator systems and how they work cuz being like "I'm just riding the elevator" is a little suspicious. If security still mistreats you, then it's definitely a fault on them.
