I would’ve stood up and explained to that guard that it shows on your website you allow photos and videos for non commercial use. I would also show them a copy of the Simon code of conduct. I would just not budge until they make it right.

Simon is supposed to allow videography now, so I think the guard was wrong to do that. Well, at least you got a video of it either way. When I came here this past Tuesday, this elevator was out of service. I don't know what was happening, but I saw a Schindler thing there. I don't know if they're modernizing it or what, but I guess I'll never know.

OMG! I am so sorry to hear that you got busted by security. Back in January with Samuel Schneider We actually got busted at Chesterfield mall for riding the service elevators.

I doubt the security guards really understand their own rules, either that or they don’t give two craps or their manager is telling them something about the rules they won’t tell the customers. Just disappointing. Oh, and you found kind of a rare KSS-140 (look at the indicator). Nice find.

Oh great here we go again with Simon being stupid about their photography policy! I'm guessing the security guard doesn't even know the mall policies too well, especially the one that says about not allowing recordings for ad uses, but allowing them for personal uses. So that could be why you got busted. And I'm also guessing security in this mall is allied, right? If so, then not surprised
