The point is it's better to go 1-2 reps below absolute failure, so in your case 13-14 reps, because that has nearly the same muscle stimulus but with significantly less fatigue.

One thing worth mentioning about myth 5 is that thing like protein can be counted as less calories becuase it takes you body more energy to metabolize. Also for the specific case, the fiber in apples can be almost completely subtracted from the calorie count because it cannot be digested like a normal carb

@jessejameswest "Squats bad for your knees" - I'm a UK veteran that was medically discharged for my knees. On lengthy research I found an article (can't remember where), that stated if you build your quads, you could off set a lot of stress on the knee function. I tested this and was able to complete a short and long sprint triathlon! Hope this helps, love your vids bud!
