Don't start off teaching the tricks first. Let them learn by fixing their own mistakes.

A few tips for proper silicone welding: 1: You need more than 55 amps for that joint. Try closer to 90 amps and faster travel. You'll thank me later. 2: Conventional welding hoods should be replaced with a clown mask and clear wrap around safety glasses. Super important. Lemme know if you need anything else.

Because of all you taught me in class, I'm confident I would do much better welding stainless than silicone.

Let’s see the comparative tensile strength test results….. I bet the silicone weld is much more compliant …. Plus there will be no thermal distortion….. I think we are on to something.

I’ve done a lot of caulking and I’m really good at it. Less so with welding, that’s why I watch. But I have thought about the similarities, you need a clean clear path, consistent trigger pressure, ability to see both sides of the end of the tube to get good penetration, yes I do mean penetration. You want to squeeze the caulk into the joint to the point that you see it almost squirting out the front edge of the tip. As in the fake welding. I go for a smooth finish though, and a little spit where you start and stop helps to smooth the transition. lol!!

Bad Obsession Motorsport did a video of how to weld ceramic teacups back together, This Old Tony also did one on Ceramic teacups Neither seemed to have any problems with grounding either.

Hi Another one that winds me up, these cheap so called laser welders showing perfect joins even under water. Have you seen these? Am I right that they are fake?

There is actually a new election welding tech. No one fully understands it yet but you wan weld/glue jello and bananas to metal with current. It’s also reversible

its as bad as '' cold welding '' it was a tragic run on videos too.
