What a blessing to have the Word of God expounded so faithfully and clearly. Thank you Lord for Alistair's faith in the Lord Jesus and for his love for all God's people. Please enable us all to know you better and in your mercy would you continue to save sinners. Amen.

What a wonderful message. I really needed to hear this today. I became very Ill at the age of 24 and was in and out of the hospital for 9 months. This happened just after I had become much more serious about my walk with the Lord. I wish someone had taught me this at that time. The false messages that if you follow God he will give you a great blessing like Cinderella caused me great grief and real emotional/spiritual trauma which was worse than my physical condition which was grave. Most pastors give no thought for what happens to the souls of their flocks when no one picks up their glass slippers and the pain remains without relief. I learned this message through the suffering. When I would try to share this truth even with pastors they would correct me saying my pay day hadn't come because of my lack of faith. The truth is, more trouble will come as you strengthen your faith. Then will we be able to say, though he slay me, yet will I serve him for he is worthy. Thank you for preaching the truth and helping to prepare us for the battle. It is a true kindness toward us all. May God bless and keep you, and may he put a hedge about you that Satan can not come to buffet you for your strong testimony and declaration of the word of truth.

Bless you Mary. We all as Christians go through trial and tribulations, you are not alone and we glorify the Lord through them. God bless you dear sister and continue to give you strength in your walk.

JESUS SAYS, In this world you will have tribulations but be of good cheer , I have overcome the world! Daniel 3. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to him, “King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.

@@AreNanc What do and should Christians know? 1. That God is omnipotent. 2. That God is omniscient. 3. That God is merciful and benevolent. 4. That God created man in his image. 5. That God's purpose for us is to mould us to be like Christ so that those that do not believe in Him are able to see (via our speech, actions and response to our environment) something that sets us apart from non-believers. 6. That God knows us intimately and desires for us to know Him intimately - His mercy, love, wisdom, strength, goodness, gentleness, protection etc. 7. That God always desires and does what is best for us. What is best for us as permitted to occur to us by God is not always what we would desire or choose for ourselves. Remember, God's objective is to mould us to be like Christ. 8. God permits tribulations upon us to achieve His objective for us and to strengthen our faith. Faith that is untested is useless to us. It is only through walking through difficult times that our understanding and knowledge of God increases and our faith increases. In the same manner that a sapling that is never buffeted by strong winds will never be a strong tree. Tribulations can come to us through others and our environment, through our own actions when we walk ahead of God and directly from God. 9. Whether or not we grow and learn through our difficult times is entirely dependent on us, our attitude to the situation. Remember, for the believer everything that happens to you is happening by God's permission. God is allowing it to happen. It is easy to praise God when the sun is shining. But will you praise God in the storms? If we approach our difficult times/trials with an attitude of God what are you trying to do for me, show me, teach me and God help me walk through this difficult trial, the fruit of such an approach will be that our faith in God will increase, our wisdom and knowledge will increase and our intimate relationship with God will increase. But, if we only focus on our trials and not God, there will be no growth. Don't focus on your trials/ difficulties but focus on God, lean on God to walk with you through those trials/difficulties. And remember for every believer that God has set a personal limit to their trials and difficulties. One example in the Bible of someone (and there are many) that approached tribulations with a good attitude and leaning on God was the disciple Paul. Paul, amongst other things, was shipwrecked, beaten, stoned and left for dead, spent most of his life in prison. And yet, through his tribulations he chose to lean on God and by doing so had a deep, intimate relationship with the Lord. If he had not chosen to do so he would have been a spiritually broken man and we would not be blessed with the many epistles that he wrote under God's instruction.

Excellent message. All of it was good. I especially needed to hear how Naiman wanted to impress people with his greatness. I remember when I was a child my uncle said to me one day " You can dish it out, but you can't take it." That tells me that I was always a proud, bratty little kid. I still have need to fight that in myself.

Strange none of these big church meeting houses there’s no big windows with natural light ? I like a sunny light church but I suppose it’s hard to secure in these wicked times

I am so glad you mentioned how so many actors have been snubbed at the Oscar’s. Angela Bassett is in good company. Does not make it better for her. What divinity said about Streep having chokehold on that statue can apply to Cat Blanchett too. Angela will be acknowledged.

Died with him? Does that mean died believing in Christ ?

I wish everyone would just speak plain English ! Died to do with Christ??? Does that mean- we are condemned to eternal spiritual death due to sin, but we are reprieved and forgive and accepted by God if we faithfully believe in Christ’s divine atoning sacrifice ? Long winded but clear?

Hello! May I suggest you listen again? I can’t possibly explain your questions on here. Ask God to open the ears of ur spirit by His Holy Spirit. These things are known to be a mystery. I Hope this may help.
