Tim definitely needed more of a storyline, as well as more film time. A spin off would be amazing. Put him in some big city. Good ole boy from Kentucky, doing his thing like he knows how to. Maybe a couple guest appearances of Raylan, as well as the others. References from Justified regarding past cases or past characters occasionally included. Not another season of Justified, but a spin off like Myans to SOA. But actually worth watching.

The delivery of the I don’t miss talk is just awesome, the subtle detail of Jacob Pitts performance goes down to how he forms his words. Everything is just standard talking up to his delivery of “But I don’t miss.” There is almost no movement in the formation of those words, it adds a subconscious tension to the moment.

Tim reminds me of the real life Shifty Powers, of Band of Brothers, Easy Company fame. Shifty didn’t miss, he saved countless lives with his marksmanship abilities, earned in the woods of SW Virginia, where a miss meant your family didn’t eat. He was also an incredible scout, he was able to tell when the smallest things looked different, indicating human activity. A real American hero, a slight, extremely humble man, who never wore a cape but cast an enormous shadow. RIP Shifty, thank you for your service.

Sorry, overwhelmed and must continue gushing. You take these characters and relationships and you distill them into this concentrated essence that is just so absolutely incredible to experience. Your eye for moments is astonishing - such exquisite detail - and somehow highlight them in such a way that they shine like jewels even though they're sometimes easy to miss in their original context. Then comes your wonderful, wonderful gift for juxtaposition, movement, theme, rhythm, positioning, and more, taking those moments and blending them into a larger whole that just takes my breath away every single time. I'm not quite ready to give in just yet (I must watch all of my favorites about a thousand more times each), but rest assured that at some point you will make me cave and watch a bunch of videos for shows I have ever never seen before in my life or have seen and don't actually like. Your work is so consistently breathtakingly beautiful that I have no doubt I will appreciate the videos anyway. I am a professional movie critic, and I have just spent the last few months trying to determine what nationally released films deserved awards from my respective organizations. Some of those awards were in the category of film editing, and rest assured if I could somehow give you an award I would absolutely figure out how to do that. You are an artist of the highest order, and I am in absolute awe of your skill and talent.

I Love both Tim and Rachel, but Tim holds a special place in my heart. He's the reason I watched the show (hoosier) and I ended up loving the whole thing for what it was. top 5 shows for sure. Even with what little screen time Tim had he still managed to be extremely interesting, witty, entertaining and all around lovable. Jacob Pitts, as an actor, is so underrated. The episode where Mark’s body is found; that starts with the close up of Tim’s face, is heartbreaking from start to finish. For 42 minutes, he’s helping everyone else and hoping in vain that someone will ask him if he’s ok. No one does. No one ever does. And Pitts’s acting is so good. Why did he have to move to Slovakia or Croatia or wherever and drop out of acting? I know his living in his wife’s hometown and I know he hated auditions and I know he cd never do the glad handing and schmoozing that is necessary in that biz - but I really miss him. Everything about Justified is designed to be timeless. So while it's happening in "modern times", almost everything could be 20 years ago, 50 years ago, even 150 years ago except for cars. All of which made that scene where he stops on the road and then says, "Hey, I've got this guy's number. Let's give him a call," notable from the get-go. But then that beautiful conversation they have "reminiscing" about a situation that's an awful lot like the one they're actually in...great stuff.
