Wow! What a presentation. Gave me the shivers, with so many insights in such a short time. Very different from a normal TedX presentation, especially the east-west blend, the gravitas approach, the 'I am enough' personal courage to speak as well as listen, the internal images of roles - so much content, so little canned phrasing, and the namaste at the end, preceded by its meaning - wow!

Fabulous! I am so proud to see this. Congratulations to my friend Debjani. As a woman, an engineer from India, I can totally relate to this. My choice of an engineering major was questioned by multiple friends and relatives. The suggestion was to choose a career that was ‘more suitable for women’.

Fabulous! I am so proud to see this. Congratulations to my friend Debjani. As a woman, an engineer from India, I can totally relate to this. My choice of an engineering major was questioned by multiple friends and relatives. The suggestion was to choose a career that was ‘more suitable for women’. The idea of women contributing to a role that requires logical reasoning was very difficult to perceive. Why do we still see a gender bias? Why does the issue of gender-based unequal pay arise in this day and age? What are we doing to ensure that the future generation of women do not endure the same ? BRIDGE is the start. To learn more, please watch the video.

Debjani, this is extraordinary! I'm so glad I waited to watch until I could give your beautiful talk my undivided attention. The stories about your grandfather and Mother Theresa brought tears to my eyes. I will watch your talk again very soon with my 18-year-old daughter. She is a natural includer and has found a lot of encouragement to be an includer in her wonderful first semester of college. Your words and experience will encourage her all the more. What a gift you are! Thank you!
