There was this japanese actor, he played a politician in "The Last Samurai" & something similar (a business-man?) in "Fearless" with Jet Li. People hated both characters with a passion, it somehow went on to the actor, like he would be the same in real life. Because he was good at what he did. Don't know what became of him, but I heard he wanted to quit. Weird thing. Nobody hates Gary Oldman for being the bad guy in "Leon - The Professional", if I remember right. About Homelander, that's peak acting, this guy might become big, given the right role in a couple of movies.

This I think is a part of why people disliked season 3 a bit because this was a season 2 style defeat of homelander before all the juicing. A witty defeat from a regular human and an ex lover. That being said I'm sure most can agree that seeing butcher physically on par finally able to actually school homelander for the most part (being the much better fighter having to actually tried his whole life against humans of non human strength) was an absolute treat. Homalander has a bit of a superman problem going on where when a great fighter with finilar strength goes against him he really is discovered to be a bit of a subpar fighter. He rarely needs to know how to fight and sparring partners are few and far between so learning is a bit hard.

I still remember this part of course billy butcher did lose his wife I don’t think this son had anything to do with what happened to his wife I know it was storm front doing well at least she got what she deserved in the end I know Billy but she’ll probably blamed his wife’s death on HomeLander and storm front then he did on his stepson not to forget he gave his stepson his necklace and send him to the CIA where he would be safe I doubt he is ever going to be like his father tho especially at the fact that he already knows that his father is really nothing more than a monster Who doesn’t really care about anyone for that matter it is a victory for Billy Butcher because HomeLander is now without his son any chance of establishing a relationship with him is now forever destroyed but it is a tragic loss for Billy butcher as well because his wife died but at least her sacrifice did not go in vain still the ending scene of season two was rather concerning it just shows that HomeLander he’s moving more and more closer to showing his true colors to everyone that he is really a monster a fraud Who pretends to be a superhero when in reality he doesn’t really care about anyone i’m wondering if he’s finally going to cross the line and actually not care at all if he gets exposed for Who he truly is season 3 of the boys will be quite interesting to watch I look forward to seeing it
