So, I work in a school, and back in the before times the kids did a "living museum" where they had to be historical figures, and parents would come to each station to see their presentations. I bought a bunch of these push lights, took them all the way apart, and printed out little "play" buttons to put behind the clear plastic. The kids would be frozen in place like a statue and the parent would come up and push "play" and the kid would "come to life" and start their presentation. It was super cute! However, having to buy like 80 of these lights for the whole class, about 1/3 just wouldn't work straight out of the package, so we had to buy a bunch extra.

You can add a clothes pin to the back of the light and add it to your child’s homemade fort (indoors or out). Throw in pillows and stuffed animals and it’s bright enough for a perfect reading nook to encourage reading, or add a lap desk for homework or other super secret projects.

Took me forever to find a dollar tree that wasn't sold out of these lights. Finally found them and I love them. My house is old and not wired correctly. Honestly not one door in my house has a light switch near it, which means, you walk into a dark room a few feet before you reach a light switch. Now I have these lights near each doorway. I have 4 dogs and these lights keep me from tripping over a sleeping dog. And the other day our power went out and just having one of these lights on lit up my entire living room. I've put the inside dark cupboard's and under them and inside my pantry and closets and under sinks... I really love these lights.

We have a retro camper. It had 2 small lights that were awful!!! We have a long light bar that we mounted. Our river lot doesn't have electricity tho. So when we need the light bar we would have to power up the generator first. I bought some electric lanterns. I also added the push lights under the cabinets and inside the cabinets for easy lighting late at night or early in the morning. It also makes it easy during the day when I'm just running into the camper to grab something really quick. Our tent has lighting alrdy built in that can run off of battery or electricity. If it didn't this would be a great item to keep handy.

I vend at outdoor events, which have us camping behind our booth for a week. We use these lights in both tents. By the sleeping bags, by the doors and in the camp kitchens. You're right, they're priceless.

Hi Kallie! These are some great hacks! I have a larger push light that I keep in my closet, but it isn't mounted because there is no "one area" that I can place it to use. I love these little ones and will definitely look for them. Our house was built in 1925, so I hear you on "dark spots". Also, new subscriber for these types of tips! Thank you so much for sharing!

Thank you for all the good ideas for the push light. I have shopped at Dollar Tree many times and just looked at the light and walk right by. But today I went and bought 2 push lights and plan to buy a couple more next time I go to Dollar Tree. I used the lights in my hall closet and I especially like the idea that you had with the painted little wooden crate and use it with a push light in it mounted on the wall. What great ideas you have. I really enjoy your videos. Keep all those ideas coming. Thank you.
