The cameraman’s name is Subramanian. He is not a cinematographer. He is just an amateur home video maker. He is the eldest brother in that family and seldom shows up in front of the camera. It was his idea to start this channel. He shoots and edits himself. Excellent self made videographer.

The rock the used to grind the tomato and onion paste is called as checku in Tamil.We use it to make paste for our recipes.It is made out of granite,so it is said to give the food a lot of nutrients and flavour.

These videos are trending right now which is awesome for their channels n their funding) Great enjoyable reactions dear Rick and Korbin n yes there are many vegetarian dishes that all these channels make because except for certain communities in specific areas in India, most make and eat vegetarian foods especially if they are from south India and even if they include a non vegetarian dish almost daily into their everyday meals. A non vegetarian dish is seen as a luxury meal (or made for special festivals or occasions)for most folks which is why they enjoy it even more when they prepare and eat it. This is 'Naatu kozhi' which means either homegrown chicken or wild fowl which has a different earthy taste from the broiler chicken that is usually prepared in restaurants. Though some use chicken feet in their recipes, they ground turmeric(Manjal) rather than chicken feet in the beginning of the video 💜😃🙏This was truly wonderful.

Korbi. I loved the big smile. We can see an Indian in you. Heartwarming reactions from both. The last part where they share food is not to their village. Usually villages in India are feudal. So there are many well off people. It will have its own economy. That could be even stunning to really high standards in some cases. For instance, there are villages, where people have grown out donate back, where it happens to be that, 1000s are given free food for life. Where it matters the most. So here in this video, they are giving it to a old age home, and not the village. Those are old people, who don't have the luxury of health and wellness care at home. Hence there are these non profit institutes that support them. They are doing their part by supporting them. This youtube channel frequents this place often. About the guy behind the camera. Has been doing with this same set from the beginning. He is a guy who quit IT job and went back to his village and started this youtube channel.
