​@@aw3271 i had hair that went to my mid back and it was weighing down my curls, especially since i have SUPER thick hair. I consulted my cosmetologist who is specialized in curly cut and we figured out a cut that might work. It didnt and i went to somone else, i mentioned how i wanted bangs or shorter front peices to frame my face. The other stylist gave me curtain bangs which on my 2b [i believe, could be diffrent] hair was not flattering. After i let it grow for a while i got long layers and told my actual stylist to cut as much as she thought she needed to off, now its to my shoulders and while i do miss the length, i love how my curls show now.

I somehow managed a wolf shag cut on 3c hair straightened 😂 I did a mixture of the butterfly cut and bottom to top pyramid in diagonal cuts.

Yes I have. After a few weeks I don’t like mine- it’s like two levels and I’m scared to cut again. Considering just slicing the whole back across into a bob and bloody leaving it. My hairs the exact same as yours. The type and curl with coiling or waves without. However my hair is extremely thick. I DID cut the front pony and the back pony to be the exact same length by measuring from the bauble with a comb. You ve shortened your back one- Och screw it- I ll try once more like you have and then get it cut if it’s more of a mess... these diy shorts are super tempting. Your colour is GORGEOUS 🧡🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🌈

Oh I hope it works out for you! Make sure to have your ponytail very slick and on wet hair and to pull your hair the correct angle before you cut it as these things make a big difference

Yeah only way this cut works is if you have curls my dear. Anything looser than your curls wouldn't be as forgiving. It's just a few more steps to get a really nice butterfly or a long layered feather with long face framing.

Actually the original tutorial was by Brad Mondo and it wasn’t for curly hair, it was to give a nice layered cut but it just so happens it works great on curls 😃

I have 3b hair and I did a wolf cut on it with it being curly and not straightened and it was the cutest thing ever but now I regret it cause I had to chop off 3 inches of hair cause it wasn’t even when I got it straightened
