I love the depth of your analysis!!! She has some really amazing songs on her album that I was stunned by. The song Everything Happens For a Reason and Selfish from her album are genius!!!

Hi Jessica. I won't ask you in a video of an artist to analyze another artist, I don't think it's the right thing to do. For my part I will tell you that, pending to see your analysis, I am convinced that you will not disappoint me, because you never do. I have never heard this singer, so this video, for me, has an added incentive, because thanks to you and other singing teachers, I am getting to know exceptional artists that I would not have heard otherwise; normally we all have our "circle" in which we move and from which it is difficult for us to get out. Fortunately, by following your "wake" I am getting to know a lot of new music, and I hope that you will also get to know little by little great artists who, as you have often said, are little known but are very good. A big hug

I'm guessing it was you at the very end-and if so, I love your voice! It sounds so rich!! (always wanted to sing and learn violin, but I know nothing about music as I work in health education lol) so I hope my description did your voice justice. And I really love Madison's voice, her live performances are even better!

I also really enjoyed learning the technical aspects of the song, it allowed me to appreciate the song even more even if I don't fully understand it

Your braininess with musical notation and the application of it always impresses! This artist, Madison Beer, I feel she has a slight smoky atmospheric feel to her voice. Nice pick from Bora👏👍 Also, way to be perceptive, Jess, with the context of the song via the videography as well as the lyrics😉

Thanks Retro! I agree with you about her voice. I look forward to hearing more from her.

Hey Jess! Loved the reaction. I would've came to the premiere, but I was busy jamming out on the piano at Sunday worship. Can't wait for the next analysis! :)

Ok I know she mentioned this is similar to “My Future,” but the intro music and when that is repeated in the song sounds identical to “Good Thing” by Khelani starting at the line “I’ve always been told.” Has anyone else noticed that?
@-Alice_in-Wonderland_3 жыл бұрын
both Khelani and Madison simpled it from another song

8:00... how are these instrumental chords called always coming on beat 4 of the 6/8 measure? Reminds me somehow of 1930-1950 music... can that be? Is there a name for the genre using this?

Hi, i love your reaction even though i couldn't understand half of the technical terms 😅😅. But, i really appreciate how informative it is. I learnt a lot from it. This is such a beautifully written song. So many singers are making cover of this song. But of all the covers i heard so far, there is one particular cover that reminds me of how Floor Jansen covered Lady Gaga's "shallow". The singer's name is Aina Abdul. She sang the song quite beautifully and it's kinda unique that she impovises by changing some notes or melisma in the middle and towards the end of the song (sorry, I'm not technically versed). But i think it's going to be interesting to hear you comments on that cover. You can check it out at this link, if you keen: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z3uqp2mupJ6SnNU Thank you in advanced.
