Have the feeling our gut bio varies alot.One size doesnt fit all. I am pretty devastated to find I get all kinds of issues when I eat vegetables. When I limit myself to meat, dairy and nuts...I poo like a well oiled perfectionist. Evacuate so well i feel amazing! as soon as i add fibre....I get scouring sloppy stools. even small amounts. Not SURE WHY. I have a friend who when she eats mostly meat she gets constipated. So I think we gotta take on board all the info you guys so generously bring us...and find our own right and then follow the paths and tips that are work for you. BECAUSE THERE IS NO CLEAR RIGHT WAY IN ALL THIS....with the exception of processed food and oils affect us all badly.

@mattyb1624 appreciate your reply. However I have been keto for 2 years. My gut is better than ever. My point is I thrive on meat nuts and diary. Im perfectly healthy in that range. I am not unwell because I can't do hard fibre. My friend gets unwell when she isn't eating enough fibre. That's what I'm saying. One size doesn't fit us all. With the exception of processed crap is no good for us all.

It's true. We do not need fibre. I had severe acute IBD Ulcerative colitis. Fibre sent me to hospital twice. Now on a zero fibre diet I am in clinical remission. Watch out for these sorts of talks that simply quote BS from corrupt studies and organisations.

Thank you for an interesting video.. There are soluble and insoluble fiber. Some foods may be very high in on sort, and very low in the other ... Here is what "ScienceDirect" writes about the two.. "An important property of insoluble fibers is their ability to bind with carcinogens, mutagens, and other toxic chemicals formed during digestion of food, allowing their subsequent removal through the feces, whereas soluble fibers are able to produce short-chain fatty acids, such as butyrate, propionate, and acetate by ..."

I dont eat plants & I'm allergic to cows milk so I've recently added goat kefir & goat butter in moderation to my diet. Finally my guts seem to be working great after 70 years of severe digestive issues. Well wishes.

It can take some time to adjust to plant foods if you are not used to them, just like it can take time to adjust to a Carnivore diet. The body & the gut biome needs time to adapt, & that doesn’t happen overnight. You can get various symptoms - gas & bloating are common, initially. Histamine responses can be due to cellular dehydration - the body needs more fluid when processing plant foods. A glass of water & a pinch of full spectrum unrefined Sea Salt (for the minerals) can help mitigate histamine responses.

Butter is a good source of butyrate
@EarmuffHugger
@EarmuffHugger Ай бұрын
Butter is not optimal to certain fiber pushing docs or nutritionists for acquiring butyrate. I commented once that I eat goat butter (severe allergy to cow dairy) for the butyrate & the doc had a very nasty, lengthy, angry reply stating ..."BUTTER DOESN'T SUPPLY ADEQUATE AMOUNTS OF BUTYRATE.. EVEN IF ONE WERE TO EAT 2 LBS OF BUTTER DAILY.". However, since I hadn't eaten real butter for over 60 years (taboo by the currupt food pyramid & harmful according to the corrupted medical institution) I feel some butyrate is better than none even if he's correct. I don't believe there's an RDA for butyrate so I'm just going to continue to eat my tasty, creamy, salted patties of goat butter with every meal because I will never eat plant fibers again. Well-wishes.
