Recently bought some recommended stocks and now they are just penny stocks. Very true, you can be passively involved in the markts and still amass wealth-gains using an investment advisor. I first dabbled in stocks late 2019, just before the pandemic, and that same year gained over 150% with no prior investing experience, basically all I was doing was following directions of my advisor. We are working on a retirement ballpark of $3m and I’m certain my goal isn’t farfetched after subsequent investments and tremendous returns so far.

Any stock that goes up a lot in price in a short period of time. Is a sign that it's priced to perfection. Meaning all positive, present and future good news in priced in. Any unexpected news that hasn't been priced in will cause an overreaction. I've seen this movie before...

when all these analysts are bullish on Meta at 500$ and very bearish at 100$ for the same company is when you need to avoid it they just move price targets and estimations based on market's sentiment see how bullish they were with Tesla back in 2021 which has dropped 60% ever since, very likley will happen the same with all this IA when the trend fades away this high valuation won't be justified anymore
