I used Gupton Motors in Springfield TN. Renee was great. But understand for those of you that don't know you have to be in the FCA affiliates program to get that discount. It's a straight up deal and Renee will tell you how to navigate it. I took delivery of my JLRU in August. Had placed my order in May. My build price was 64315 and the price I paid was 56545.

I went with Daniel Phannareth at Capital CDJR in Indian Trails of North Carolina. I ordered a 2023 JLURD at 6% below invoice. At the time of my order (8-12-22) my MSRP was 63,925.00 and my discounted price was 56,742.00 plus a Doc Fee of 799.00. By the time it delivered on 10-4-22, the MSRP had gone up 2,000.00 but they still honored my original price.

Matt, Today we picked up our Grand cherokee from Lindsay at Dan Cummins. We had our financing through my credit union. While going over the paperwork, the finance guy came out and told us a rebate had come out on the Grand Cherokee. I thought it was a ploy to get us to use their financing. It wasn't they cut us a check for the 2000 dollars. I can honestly say that has never happened before. Thanks for telling us about Lindsay.

I ordered from Lakeland CDJR in Lakeland, FL. They are pretty close to me (In in the Orlando Area) and although they do have a $1000 dealer fee, they also locked me it at 6% under invoice, so my out-the door pricing is still less than the MSRP.

Hey man! I love your videos. They’re so freakin informational. I have a qq- i just bought 22 wrangler recon package and as soon as I got I noticed the whining sound while turning steering right/left. I took it to the dealer and they changed the power steering pump and its lil quitter now but still there. Service said its going to be there all the time and I read it on jeep forums and they also saying its normal sound nothing to worry. I just need your professional advice just for peace of mind. Thanks much in advance.😊

They all have a small whine due to the fact that the steering pump is electric, it is barely noticeable but it’s there!

@@DIRTROADCRED 2 door Willys sport 6 speed. I ordered the hard top, and dual door group with premium uppers. I ordered the doors to get power windows, mirrors and locks. I saved a like $2k plus the doors instead of the regular Willys. I got the tow package and the doors off mirror kit.

Great video, very much enjoy learning of new dealers etc. I have watched Coddiwomple Overland for a while so familiar with Dan Cummins (a little that is). I was completely unaware that they had a relationship and sold AEV vehicles which I was pretty excited about. As I currently have a 2021 Ram 2500 Power Wagon, I have have a strong interest for an AEV prospector XL. Shortly after watching your video I went to their website and with disgust I can tell you I won't even bother calling (Lindsey if you're reading this). $143K...🤦‍♂️ Anyways, great channel.

I tried to factory build a 2023 Wrangler Unlimited Sport S recently at the dealer and I wanted the granite color but it wasn't available. They wanted me to settle with the sting gray which I wasn't going to do. Also, the safety group wasn't available as an option to add which has the lane departure, cross traffic sensors and LED rear taillights. They couldn't tell me if it was now standard with 2023 models either. Those are the only two items on my build that's holding me back from ordering. Do you have any info on that?

Guessing one of the gaps in her 50 state list is Massachusetts. It's incredibly difficult for an out of state dealer to sell into MA, because of how the registration and sales tax are tied together, and there's no such thing as a temp plate.

Your gonna have to ad the taxes to that 80k price. I went to Croton Jeep in NY and they were really great. I got my wrangler 392 with every option except the XR package and I got it for 76k and of course I had to ad the taxes and after that my price was 82k still a lot cheaper than everyone else I could find.

An interesting series of shows might be to buy the cheapest JL Sport in White/Manual/Canvas Topper with no options allowing you to “just have a Jeep”. Then show what it is and isn’t capable of doing and the aftermarket costs to remedy each vs. just spending the money upfront with your initial factory order. I think we are losing many potential members of the Jeep community with an 80K price point. I know I never thought about getting a Jeep again until I stumbled on the 40K Willys Sport. Everyone said I would be disappointed; but I’ve turned the Willys Sport with the manual & canvas top into my daily driver and parked my loaded Ram 1500. The JL is way different than a JK and worlds away from TJ & CJ. They are very nice vehicles even at lower trim levels.

Rates did go up from like 0-5% this year so buying a car or house costs way more than one year ago just in interest, an extra 5% a year on a 6 year loan ends up costing 30% more in interest… on a 30 year home loan its even more painful buying now vs a year ago

Great. Now that I have a Jeep again and enjoying the hobby I’m constantly surprised by the stuff that nobody knows. Like you can get a Limited Slip Differential in a Sport, a common piece of kit in any 2WD Pickup that’s there to assist you BEFORE hitting the 4WD mode. BUT the supremely capable Rubicon does not have a LSD. So in 2WD taking the grandkids for ice cream on a rainy day where mud overflows the road my Willys Sport is actually more capable in that moment. Also a Sport has 17”x7.5 rims just like a Rubicon but comes with 245 All-Season Radials vs on the same size rims on my Willys I got 255 MT’s and the Rubicon gets 285 AT’s. Thus simply changing the tires totally changes a Sport from looking less capable to looking pretty good. I say a Sport in the driveway is better than a Rubicon as your screen saver!

P.S. Once the Dealership model ends I think there will still be a need for a trusted source of information during the ordering process. I’m not exactly sure how you set yourself up to be that source but it will be something your channel could provide - m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/nJekhmecnN1nprs. This “best” Jeep really is subjective based on its intended use. The advantage that a Jeep has over other vehicle platforms is that it’s still modifiable in a well equipped garage. Thus it can start as a Soccer Mom’s Mall Crawler and later be modified into her kids first adventure rig and later kept as a treasured family memory to take grandkids out for ice cream. No other vehicle has that lifespan.
