@MyRvWorks Is there a way I can contact you to figure out what plumbing tools I need? I currently have flexible vinyl tubing with a mix of pex pipe and fittings.

As a subscriber and fan of your impressive knowledge base, I’m hoping you can solve what I thought was a simple problem: is it possible to run a dual fuel generator off the auxiliary propane quick connect of my RV? I can see the male end on my Champion 4500 has a different length than the BBQ grill I typically plug in. I thought it would be a simple thing to replace or fabricate an adapter so that I don’t need to carry an additional tank just to run the generator. The short hose that came with the Champion has a built in pressure regulator that I know I wouldn’t need since the RV regulator would do the job. As far as I can determine, both regulators step the pressure down to the same level. I’m assuming there’s a secondary regulator built into the generator that provides the necessary volume needed. Is there a solution, or am I just out of luck?

Disconnect regulator. Pour methyl hydrate down your lines. Let it sit. Remove each propane fitting one at a time and blow them out with compressed air. The methyl hydrate will clean and dry the lines out
