Buy THIS instead of the DJI Mini 4 Pro

In this video I go over my first impressions to DJI's launch announcement of the DJI Mini 4 Pro Video Pro. Being an avid user of the DJI Mini 3 Pro Camera Drone, I certainly have some thoughts on this one.

Same thing happened to me, i bought Mini 3 Pro, and was really happy with it! 2 weeks later DJI announced Mini 4 Pro, i got really lucky as i still had one week for return and exchange, so i just exchanged my Mini 3 Pro for the new Mini 4 Pro for free, to me the biggest upgrade is the RC-2 remote, its so much better than the first version, with active cooling, it maintains 700knits brightness and CPU/GPU is significantly faster, both the controller and drone start really quickly - so your ready to fly in no time

I was more fortunate and had somewhat of an opposite experience. I bought a new motorcycle this spring along with an insta360 X3 to make videos of my rides. I had been on the fence for a couple of years on a drone, as where I live (4,000' on the US/CA border looking at the Pasayten wilderness, North Cascades and the Snowy wilderness in BC) has insane photography virtually every day, all day. I decided that Black Friday 2023 I would be getting the mini 3 pro come hell or high water. The first reviews of the mini 4 pro dropped last week, and I smashed the reload button on my browser starting at 5PM on Sept. 25th until the "Reserve Now" button on the DJI website changed to "Buy." Batteries are all charged, and my brain is fried from watching tutorials. Tomorrow, sunrise 4K drone shots will be happening. After that a bike ride along a county road about a mile from my place that has a string of beaver ponds that get laced with mist in the mornings this time of year.

the real difference will be when they integrate 2nd zoom camera sensor in MINI series. The 3 vs 4 sensors in only marketing, (mini 4 pro still crashes on to the trees with 360 deg sensors).

A second sensor would be killer. If they could somehow do that but keep the vertical camera option that would be huge.

yes bit I don't think they will do it otherwise why would you buy an Air ?

​​@@r3dp1llnew air will have better sensor that actually are the same as in mini series. And this would be enough to have some progres. They can update the obstacle sensors with better sensitivity/ resolution as well.

i had my Pro 3 for about 3 months and pissed off that they slam this one out so shortly after! none the less, i am NOT upgrading!

If you had told me five years ago that THIS is what an 'entry level' professional drone was capable of, I wouldn't have believed you. I'm sure the folks at DJI will think of something!

Sensors to the top? 🤷‍♂️ I would say only thing I wish the mini had that air and mavic lines have is a 2nd telephoto lens. But at that point mavic line will make no sense so I gusss that's not happening any time soon
