BUYER BEWARE: PEX PLUMBING WITH PLASTIC MANABLOCK MANIFOLD

Many homes nowadays have PEX Plumbing. It's cheaper than copper plumbing and some offer a simple control panel as in the manablock manifold. Our manablock was made by Vanguard Plumbing Systems and no longer exists. Viega also used to sell model 49366 but discontinued mid-2022 leaving many homeowners without a 1:1 solution. No more branch adapters are sold. Sadly, our unit is leaking all over the garage the other day.
Don't be left out dry when they discontinued the next model, I would suggest going with a copper manifold given it should last longer than plastic. The cost of the units is well worth it.
Before you upgrade to another plastic manablock or look into converting into a plastic manabock, watch this video.
In short, think twice and maybe look into something different.

I am having the same issue (leak) with this unit. Most of the plumbers in my area do not have much experience in installing a plumbing manifold. Do you have a video how to you change it to copper one?

same here, most plumber don't have that training. I had a plumber do it but switching it to a hybrid setup.

The builder used a company that's no longer in business now so they also sold the business to another company. Try to find a plumbing expert to build a rig to convert the setup to copper.
