I went to buy new. My dealer wouldn't let me sit on one as he didn't want it to fall off the trolley. Had over 15 skis in show room with nothing on a trailer. So I bought 2 yr old 2nd hand with 19hrs for 2/3 of new price. Included 4k of options and dual trailer. Dealers blow my mind.

Most dealership don't even required you to take a delivery until it is warmer and will keep the JetSki in the crate .

Love your video! Can you give us a comprehensive list of things to check 🐒 I'm 100% taking your advice on everything in this video. I'm pretty competent and trust myself to do a look over, but I have zero PWC exp. I've only rented and never owned one much less two. I don't feel I know them enough to not overlook something. My experience last week. I DEFINITELY knew more about my ski AND the local laws then the salesmen. To the point of almost arguing. Tried to tell me theres mechanical differences between the 130 and 170 sea doo gti se. Tried to tell me a whistle is needed onboard in michigan or you get a ticket. This is false. You only need it if on great lakes. Several times i told him features amd functions about the IDF and VTS. After a while he GOT it that he should just be quiet. Tried to tell me the sound system was different between the 2022 and 2023:/ i showed him the part numbers on the site. Lol

So far dealers hating me when I take a delivery on my new truck, next will be recreational dealers lol I took 1 hour to inspect truck and then I asked one of salesman to take a ride with me for road test. They could not believe what they were hearing.

Just a heads up, It is now confirmed that there will be provisional licenses for new pwc owners and they will then have to pass a test to have a full unrestricted license here in NSW Australia, The new law will commence on the 1st of January 2026, This is similar to motorcycle license tests here in Australia. New provisional license holders will only be allowed a certain capacity ski with a minimum power to weight ratio and are not to carry pillion or tow,

I bought brand new rxt -x 260 AS black/red in 2016. It has 103 hrs and is bone stock. Just ordered an intake, a solas 15/21 and i just have no desire to get a newer ski. I'm also old though.

I have one too, great ski but maintenance is a pain compared to anything else

@@AaronFauth-ow8rl It’s pretty easy with the service manual, just more time consuming for basic maintenance. The ride is incredible though, I’ve had 6 skis and this rides the best.
