Buyer guide to IGS PGM Mother Boards [IGSPGM.COM] (PolyGame Master)

I have a 10, 12, and two 14s. The only issues I’ve had have been related to the cart connector going on me. It’s happened twice now. I’ve been leaving the games I play the most plugged in to their own boards. It’s not economical, but neither is sourcing new cart connectors. Overall a pretty under appreciated system, and one that isn’t too widely known in the U.S.

Were they dual wipe or single wipe cart connectors?? I would hope the dual wipe would last alot longer...

Finally found me a revision 10 mother board. I got it from sheep nova. Can’t wait to get it in the mail.

I just got my first PGM board and I honestly didn't know it had all these revisions until after I bought it. The board showed up today and after looking at it and checking the numbers, looks like I lucked out and got a revision 14 board. Everything on it is super clean to, no blown and/or leaking capacitors to be found. Don't know if the coin cell battery is bad or not, I'll probably replace it anyways since its so easy and cheap to do so. I can't wait to play games on this thing, the IGS PGM is so underrated. I'm also going to get a nice plexiglass enclosure for it. I'll be keeping an eye on your channel and website for any tips regarding this hardware, thanks!

I have the rev12 and removed the resistor (it had a battery holder in place already) but i now get random errors on booting or if i do a hardware test it just reboots 😢

Nice video. I grabbed an older revision because it was cheaper. Hopefully there is no track damage but I will remove the batter right away. Any suggestions for some good cheap starter games?

Tracks equal traces, I assume? Can a rechargeable battery (ML2032) holder and battery be used on revisions prior to fourteen?

Came to your channel via your video you did with @smokemonster about these. I am US Army Soldier stationed in Fort Riley Kansas. I am looking at putting together a get together. I am very interested in adding the Polygame Master to my line up. I am not a Patreon of SmokeMonster. But I was wondering where I could score a decent polygame master?

Unfortunately, there's almost nothing left in Chinese stores, only the 1st revisions and often in rough shape. Bottom of the barrel. I have only myself to blame - already for 2-3 years I've been postponing and delaying getting into PGM. Back then there was a gazillion of boards, they were dirt cheap and the games, ah the games...even the most expensive titles were available and quite affordable. Now they are reaching MVS prices. What a fool i was.
