Good video sirjee. In our society we have installed solar panels for common area electricity consumption since June 2023. Let me provide some details: ▶️Total buildings: 22 (6 floor per building, 1 lift per building) ▶️Installation capacity: 104KWp ▶️ Total installation cost: 77 lakhs (June 2023) ▶️ Savings: 📌Apr 2023 common area bill: ₹2.9 lacs 📌 Apr 2024 common area bill: ₹60k 😎 Total savings in 12 months, approx: ₹21 lacs. Approx breakeven period: 4 years. 😎 Breakeven will be even earlier than 4 years as per unit electricity rate increases considerably per year.

The builder usually is far more interested in handing over and get away. I think that it is not at all easy to ask for solar panels if it was not planned at the time of launch. Moreover, these days even the renowned builders are not fulfilling the promises they made at the time of selling. Additionally, the builder includes its own people in the society during formation so that the genuine issues are not discussed at all.

Yes, we know that is not easy! That's why we are suggesting getting it done by developers. Developers will definitely not provide it for free unless they have promised it earlier, so it’s the buyers' responsibility to pay an extra 15-20K for that and get it done. This way, coordination will be easier. It would be better if developers included these unique amenities in their projects; it's not a big task for them.

Can you comment? There are 5 buildings in the society with a common RERA, 4 are delivered with O.C. 5th is complete, promised to get O. C. in 6 months by the developer Can i invest & stay for 6 months "WITHOUT O.C." in this building? Please advise 🙏

सोसायटी मेंबर्स इतने कम दिमाग वाले होते हैं कि वो हर महीने 30-40 हजार का लाईट बिल भरेंगे, पर सोलर के लिए पैसा नहीं खर्च करेंगे. हमारे सोसायटी मे तो पूरा घना अंधेरा होने पर ही कॉमन लाईट्स चालू की जाती है.
