If I had to guess, I'd say $18-2500. You can get these trucks cheap not running here in Maryland. I'd buy one if I had somewhere to put it.

I’d love to find one of the SHA crew cab f-550’s with the stainless dumps.

FYI for next time, you can add oil to the reservoir under that plastic powerstroke cover to get oil to the injectors without waiting for the low pressure pump to fill it.

I got an older f450 called an F-Superduty 7.3 IDI with a dump bed. Really useful for my landscaping business. GVWR 14.5k and it'll haul and dump 5 ton. I am kinda lucky here because if I need 20 ton of rock, it's actually cheaper to have it delivered than haul it myself.

I am from the UK so have no idea what trucks are worth lol, but my guess is $400. Love the drone footage.

Is that the 7.3? If so, check the fuse for the fuel heater. I haven't watched the whole thing yet so if you got it running- ignore me.

I have worked on a lot of these Fords up north, and the pins that the brake caliper slides on get stuck in the caliper bracket, i started checking them at every oil change. These can give you a lot of brake problems.

$1450 is my guess. Wonder if a super duty extended cab would fit without the tool box?

Wow did that thing work in a salt mine. That rust is terrible. Nothing a grinder, metal and a welder, rust convertor, primer paint won't fix. Good to see you have the motivation energy, equipment and money to get them going. 1200. Seemed to run ok Bargain

Sounds good. I am thinking $750.00. Has it didn't run when you bought it. I can't find a one ton in my area ether. All my very best.

That's good quality northern rust about $675-$800

I'm thinking 800 bucks, coming from the sort of area you probably bought that from. The wire nut thing drives me nuts, and the stupid parts stores are partly to blame for this, as they include them in automotive wiring kits. Repeat after me: WIRE NUTS ARE FOR SOLID CORE WIRE, AND YOU DON'T USE SOLID CORE WIRE IN A CAR YA DOLT.

Not so much the chemicals they use (you have to deal with reality and snow and ice are definitely reality in the northern tier) as the poor alloys they build them out of. For very few if any dollars more they could be using alloys that have little problem shrugging off the deicers. Take a look at railroad tracks. Where I am they have been used for 150 years as mine tracks, marine railway tracks in salt water immersed a majority of the day every day) then abandoned for generations and yet they are still structurally sound with no flake rust whatsoever. Another aspect of planned obsolescence and money gouging from the corporate world. Eighty thousand dollars for a truck with a ten year life span at best!!! And the price keeps going up. If they can't or won't build them for the use they are bought for they shouldn't be allowed to be in business.
