Hi Tegan, in that first property I think that flowery plant trained to the wall is bougainvillea. I’m interested in that and maybe some lavender amongst other things for the roof terrace. Gotta see how budget holds up!

Thanks so much M Harrison! I definitely want to get some bougainvillea then. And good idea with lavender. It grows so easily, looks great and of course the scent is delightful. Clark's been watching videos on how to build planter boxes for the roof terrace. You might have to ask him to make one for you if they work out :)

They are right about the plant. they are in several colors and bloom profusely. absolutely beautiful, But they do get out of hand and have to be trimmed back. They also have killer long sharp thorns which make that difficult.

I've found many nice properties in Tuscany & Umbria online......under eu300.000. I don't want a big reno project!!!! Wan one renovated that I might have to have minimal amount done to, ie paint some walls, add a cabinet or so, etc.
