Just stumbled across this channel. Really good, simple basic content. Most people just don’t get simple basic maths when starting a business. Work back from where you want to get to and play the numbers from there. You’ll know instantly, if a business is viable or not. The second key point is contracts, lock them down. The third key point is staff. A business lives or dies by its staff. Treat them well and pay them properly and what they are worth as it hard to find good reliable staff.

In hospitality if you can keep a west end concept hot for 10years you're at the very top tier. Normally 5 years and in a city like London you are finished. Unless you're in a china town but even those restaurants have a shelf life
