If you're considering raw material value of a watch you've already made the wrong decision.

I bought my submariner 4 years ago. I never felt the slightest regret. I love that watch

Those watches are very nice but I’d like to see the box with the AP’s, PP’s, and Rolex’s that are 60-70% off AD retail. And that’s the reason why people are willing to pay more for best in class. I do not consider 60-70% off grey market highs a true measure of the watch’s worth. The real lesson here is do not pay over AD retail price for the three watch brands above if you want to maintain your watch value. And if you love/want the watch no matter what the price then cheers. Buy what you love.

Firstly, when you trying to sell a watch with 70% off and still nobody interested to buy it, it does not mean it's good value for money - quite opposite in fact. Secondly, if these watches are so amazing you would not put them on sale but keep them instead.

Not sure how you run a business for profit if you never sell anything lol

Duh! ! Rolexes are the BMW of watches. Everyone with a bit of money and zero personality has one.

Nice watches, but when you go to sell them it will be at another 70% off. So you better love it

Some truly remarkable and exquisitely made watches there! Great craftmanship too. Great salesmanship as well David!! Yes you did get your point across!! As much as Rolex hold their value and a normal watch person will always opt for Rolex, AP, Patek and other similar brands depending upon a persons budget/likes! Despite Rolex not being too adventurous and colourful in their designs apart from a few recent designs like the OP Celebration... I wish they would be more colourful!! They seem to make minimal changes like a little colour change on a bezel...give us more Rolex!! Keep up the good work David!!

Wonderful watches, and very interesting points about where real value lies. Great video - more please.

While i see you're point about value of such outstanding pieces yet the problem with these unrealized designs linking them with a staple brand is that it might be confused with fashion watches.

Very nice and unique watches! Love it!

They look interesting but a percentage off retail means nothing as the retail is set by the maker....... If I make something and say the retail is £100k that is just a figure I've made up!!!! So then 90% looks amazing but it means nothing

Is this guy for real? Good luck to anyone buying this crap to even try and sell it at the price they bought it. He bought them for pennies on the dollar which is what they are really worth. 😂

Hi very interesting video some lovely watches but it's a hard ask to spend 25k on a brand you haven't heard from before do they also make watches with less precious metal put similar design s so you can get into these brands before you spend on the bigger priced watches? Thanks John 👍.
