You got it, when we would get blow outs on our fleet we would only limp them back without removing the tire if it was a inner tire or if the damage was just a little hole and would check every 3KM's.

You actually got a rare bus. It's called a Blue Bird SBCV, it's basically an IC school bus with a Blue Bird body on it

Yes, in order to drive the bus off the lot at the auction I needed to have insurance and pay registration. They gave me a temporary tag until my permanent tag arrived in the male a few weeks later. Otherwise they told me I had to have it towed off the lot with 2 wheels off the ground. Hope that helps!

Most of the tires were 10+ years old so they need to be replaced. So age was a factor for sure.

I am 6ft 1in and the bus originally was 6ft 5in. So I should be able to make it work without a roof raise...

No you do not. Mine is registered as an RV in Florida. But be sure to check your local requirements to be sure
