Buying a Titanium Flux125 Mig welder from Harbor Freight- Unboxing & Testing

I was caught in a bad spot where I couldn't fix my Arccaptain welder right away so I decided to buy a Titanium Easy-Flux 125 welder from Harbor Freight (I had been looking at it for a long time anyways). It's the best bang for your buck. I have the Canadian version (canadian tire). It's an awesome welder, actually I have 2 I like it so much. Good luck with yours, you'll enjoy it.

@lv2keepfit493 I use to see Canadian tire in my favorite TV show (canadas worst handyman) and always thought it would be cool to go to one. Do they have 5 gallon buckets that say Canadian tire on them?

I have this welder. Huge step up from the old Chicago Electric! There's a wire feed switch next to where the wire feeds into the journey to the tip. Backside of the control panel if you will.

@wauhawk ironically there was a Chicago electric that was as-is for $40 at harbor freight and I almost got it just to see what it was like. I've heard mixed things but I do like this titanium!

​@@skywatcherranchswrI added to my comment above FYI.. The Chicago Electric is good for booger welds. I order my wire off Amazon. Yeswelder, runs great in mine I had to replace the cable and gun on mine. It got crushed. I just bought a generic one for $40 and redid the wire ends to fit.

Your Arccaptain is a MIG welder that can do flux core. That particular Titanium is only set up for flux core, so it has no provision for gas flow. When you're just doing flux on the Arc, you don't have to run a nozzle.

@ALWhiteAuthor there's no gas option on the Arccaptain either, it's purely flux.

You need to be careful welding galvanized because the gas coming off of it the smoke is deadly
