I was deeply into music when I was young, but of course life goes on. I've gone a couple of years without even touching my guitar-I got rid of most of my effects but kept my two main guitars. I now play my favorite (Ibanez GB10) a few times a week and it still brings me much joy. I’d have to be near death to actually lose the desire to play music. Congratulations for getting back into it!

I was literally recently thinking about how you sold all of your music gear, how weird that you came out with this video talking more about it! Anyway I'm a mom to a toddler and newborn, and I love guitar and photography. I have several times considered selling my guitar stuff to fund a new camera. I can't do it though I'll find another way haha. You encourage me to keep doing what I love, even if life is a bit different now being super busy "momming" and what not. I'm excited to see you start collecting guitar stuff again. I was super impressed by your playing in previous videos. Initially if I'm being honest it made me feel like I suck at guitar (I can kind of play Edge of Desire, I need to take your advice and learn more Mayer, that song alone helped me progress so much). After I stopped beating myself up for not being near as good as you you got me psyched to try and get better at guitar. Thanks for sharing your journey in music you're awesome! (No idea why I felt the need to comment such a long TMI comment, but hoping you read it and it makes you smile knowing you inspired a fellow guitarist and camera nerd;)

Good choice on that AC20, Ive had one since 2014 and Its been great. One suggestion, you might want to switch to an isolated power-supply especially since you're running an eventide and strymon. That will probably take care of a-lot of the hum you're experiencing.

You should get a isolated power supply. They deliver cleaner power than a daisy chain.I would recommend the Ojai by strymon since it’s small and it won’t have problem powering the time factor

Sara, the hum can be sorted out by buying a isolated power supply. The Strymon Oraj R30 for your pedalboard, it would fit underneath. It would also be able to power all of your effects in a one stop shop. As for your Fuzz, thats the one that is used in the intro to Muse - Plug In Baby. You have got some really good gear there! Check out Xotic, J Rockett and Shur for some great effects. If you want a Gibson, you may have to get your skates on as they filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection yesterday with over half a billion dollars of debt. As for my set up, i have 16 pedals and a master MIDI switcher pedal on for my pedalboard, i have 10 guitars and basses from Paul Reed Smith, Gibson, Fender and Spector with two amp heads from Mesa Boogie and Peavey into a Bogner cab. Am planning a new 7 string and a 11th guitar later this year with a small bass amp if i don't run out of time. All i need to do is get that journey on KZbin if i can get over the crushing doubt that i won't be any good at KZbin. Keep up your good work as you are one good KZbins person!!!

Actually Matt Belamy uses this exact pedal for that part and a few more crazy stuff, but it is this sound. Move a knob a millimeter and it goes nuts. He also had the circuit of the pedal fitted directly inside on some of his guitars with the knobs sticking out so he can control it manually right on the guitar.

Cool pedalboard. The only thing I’d think is that you might run into some trouble using a one spot daisy chain with the eventide and Strymon pedals as they are high current draw. I’d recommend either the Strymon Ojai or Cioks DC5. They will also give your pedals cleaner power so they will be less noisy than when they’re run on the daisy chain. Great choice with the Morgan AC20 though. Wonderful sounding amp.

Awesome stuff. I do have a couple suggestions/personal preferences for you when it comes to pedals. The first would be to get a noise suppressor. These things saved my life (not literally) when I used to play in a band because I used a lot of distortion, so I would get a lot of feedback, and the noise suppressor eliminated 90% of it (give or take depending on my settings and how much distortion I was using at the time). Secondly, I'd suggest checking out BOSS pedals. They are 100% my favorite because a.) They sound great, and b.) They last forever. I still use the first BOSS pedal that I ever bought, which was about 20 years ago. It's outlived every other brand of pedal that I've owned. Anyways, these are things that I've found useful and just thought I'd share. Cheers.

Hey Sara! In the future you might wanna look into an isolated power supply like a truetone one spot pro cs-6. It would fit under your board and power your pedals no problem! It would help with the noise floor and possibly the hum from your Strat. Keep up the good work.

Morgan Amp brought me here ha! The hum might be from the power supply. The Strymon and Eventide draw quite a bit of current. If it is significant, I suggest a power supply with transformer isolated outputs! (Might need to put the reverb pedal on top of the PS or something due to the real estate)

It could also be the single coil pick ups, they tend to be quite noisy without a gate pedal.
