My pet peeve at any nursery is they don’t label the plants with names and no prices. If I see something I’m not familiar with I can look it up on my phone. I’d love to come visit this place but o live about 8 hours away in Pensacola Fl. There are plenty of Bromoliads in box stores here but nothing more exotic looking or variety of genus other than Neoregelia.

Hi Mike! Yep, when it comes to hurricanes that can worry me, the Yucatan storms top the list. Thankfully it was a real speed demon and the models agreed (for once!) so we just got some residual tropical storm force winds in the feeder bands, good news. Now to put everything back to normal after all the prep! Thank you, friend, for checking in!

Unfortunately our commercial public nurseries have a minuscule variety and they charge ridiculous prices for pups that even I wouldn't take off a parent bromeliad. It's almost theft! They're variety is terrible...they're not in the right light and to be honest...a rip off. Your nursery there really should be supporting you more rather than film visits Nd specimens.. they've got to be getting a lot of free advertising from and business...what do you get in return mate? Do you get gifted plants to keep?

There is a thin line between favors and sponsorship, and it does make a difference to the folks at YT, so I try to steer clear of any confusion. I am able to record whenever and whatever I want, and i borrow plants regularly to use in the vids, and so far that has been a huge plus to the channel. Always appreciate you input Mike!
