I’m glad you emphasized on the fact that they are from Italy and not Ethiopia. Too many people still under the impression that everything they have is from Ethiopia. Thanks for the video, I am almost considered one of these TS carbines myself!

That looks amazing for being from the 1800s. Cool video very informative.

A channel I watch called _The Koba49_ does a lot on milsurp and Carcano as of late, even casts his own bullets for it... Mellow dude with good content...

I’ll have to check him out. There is another channel that does a lot with milsurp and RTI; guy dresses like Indiana Jones sort of. Forget the channel name unfortunately. I should’ve subscribed.

Oh wow that one is gorgeous!! The ones from Italy are awesome we got several of the M91 cavalry from RTIs Italian imports

Yea, I really love the way it looks. And I have one of the Italian M91 cavalry carbines and it is in rougher shape but is cool because it has an Officina Riparanzza Artigleria (that may be misspelled as I don’t have it in front of me, but in English it means artillery repair office) stamp pressed into the wood of the butt stock with the fascist Roman numerals for the date (and the original 1918 date is on the metal on the receiver)

@@wheelguns4wheelmen802 whoa that is cool! The coolest one we got is one in perfect condition from 1893 with Muskatoon in Italian written on the side in pencil. Nobody has translated the rest of the writing yet unfortunately. It was shocking to find out those folding bayonets were intended to deflect lance and saber attacks.

I bought a Carcano TS from PSA, (when they had them). It was decent shape, dirty as hell though.

Absolutely the worst people I’ve ever dealt with in my entire adult life @ RTI.
@wheelguns4wheelmen8026 ай бұрын
Was it just their attitude or did you actually get screwed in some way?

When you buy a B or C grade, you can't expect a mint condition gun.

How is the bore?
@wheelguns4wheelmen8027 ай бұрын
Rifling is intact; didn't see any pitting; still some fouling I have to remove, though. I've seen much worse; but I've also seen much better. I know you can pay extra to have them handpick the bore, but I didn't care too much because it is more to collect than to take to competitions. All I wanted was to ensure it was stamped "Beretta Gardone", had a decent stock, and came with a cleaning rod, and they ensured all those things.
