Buying Cuban Cigars: Finding aged sticks in Playa del Carmen

Tonight I decided to take a walk to my local cigar shop and look for some sticks. Found a aged H.Upmann 46 that had dark, oily wrappers so I bought one to try out first.

i know of the LCDH across the water where the cruise ships dock i believe. if you find a tasty aged box you will regret not buying the whole thing 😚💨

My Friend, first if all thank you so much for your videos. I would not have been able to meet and try Renaldo's custom bkends at LCDH Cancun. I am coming back to PDC next week. It seems you are able to stand and smoke outside on 5th Ave. Is that true after the smoking restrictions? Also any nice cigar lounges or places where i can enjoy a cigar in PDC? Hello my friend. How do you feel about the Cuban cigars in a duty free Cancun airport?

Extremely expensive. Depending on which terminal you are in there is a large walking humidor however I am not sure it is there anymore. You are better buying sticks outaode the airport and bringing back with you. Buying from duty free doesn't make them any more legal to bring into the U.S

Yes now I do. A few yrs ago I used to smoke plenty of DRs and some Nicaraguans but my flavor profile favors cubans

Is there a place in playa del Carmen that u can get cigars that are not Cuban? I will be picking some Cubans up cuz I m from Canada and the tax on cigars is crazy. I just like to smoke cigars from all over the world.

The shop on 5th ave and Calle 2 Casa Partagas also has some Dominicans. The other cigar shops like Casa Turrent sell mostly Mexican brand cigars. The LCDH in Canvun also stocks some DR and Nicaraguan sticks but they are in Cancun.

Also check out the other cuban cigar shop thats there first. When at the LCDH on Cozumel check out the box of damaged sticks that are discounted. You can find some gems that only have slight foot damage
