These bags retain or often go up in value-that's partly why many people buy them; as an investment, especially the one of kind bags. If he had put a hole in it, the re-sale value would have dropped perhaps considerably. It helps if you watch it and listen more carefully but it's such superficial BS who really wants to. But quality is measured in durability as well as the overval feeling of the material. A silk dress I understand for being delicate and needing to be handled with caution, but a leather bag? That needs some durability. Of course you will treat it carefully when you pay that much, but to be damaged by fingerprints? Come on. Every bag will last a life time if you treat it as if it was made of foam. Give me a bag that will last a life time and that I don't get a heart attack for whenever someone touches it. And many 120$ bags are just like that (as well as many are trash, but ya know, both trash and quality can be bought at various prices)
